Rebecca Edwards has always gravitated toward careers where she can make a difference in the lives of others.
For nine years, that meant working in the healthcare industry. Now, she’s keeping that same empathetic mindset, albeit in a different career field.
First Central State Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Rebecca Edwards as a Customer Service Representative in the DeWitt location. Edwards spent nine years in healthcare, before pursuing a Business Administration degree and shifting to the banking industry. Edwards anticipates to graduate July 1 from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
“Working in healthcare has taught me to be humble, thankful and more compassionate toward others,” Edwards said. “One day you may need help so it’s important to treat others the way you want to be treated.”
First Central Chief Executive Officer Brigham Tubbs said Edwards’ previous career will bring a unique perspective to First Central.
“Rebecca’s experience of helping people and making a difference in their lives matches our mission in improving the financial lives of our clients and communities,” Tubbs said. “We’re happy to have her on our team.”
Edwards has a degree from Clinton Community College and will soon earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
