Office Assistant - DeWitt Referral Center

The job of Office Assistant is a part-time position that works closely with the Executive Director, staff, and Board of Directors. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organize and maintain "paper" files.
  • Organize and maintain computerized data and files.
  • Assist in ordering supplies for the food pantry and thrift store.
  • Assist in event organization.
  • Assist in board meeting preparation
  • Assist in maintaining employee and client records
  • Complete reports as requested
  • Assist in grant writing

Qualifications:
  • Organizational skills
  • Competent in computer software programs
  • Experience working with volunteers
  • Effective communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills
