We are looking for volunteers to help us clean up our outdoor areas of Westwing and Genesis Medical Center. Some of the plans include raking the courtyard, picking up sticks, cleaning flower beds, planting flowers, scrubbing the patio furniture, and cleaning the veranda area. Garden tools will be available, but extra garden tools are welcomed. We ask volunteers to bring rakes, if possible. We also welcome anyone with a truck to help us haul yard waste to the DeWitt compost center. If you have questions about Join Hands Day or are interested in volunteering, please contact Melodie Heiar at (563) 659-4215.
