Next Chapter Live Auction: FBWC Library Fundraiser
Event Description:
The Next Chapter Live Auction is a fundraiser to benefit the Frances Banta Waggoner Community Library Expansion Project! Proceeds will support the construction and furnishings of the new library. Items to be auctioned off include: 
  • Let's Go Hawks!: 4 Iowa football tickets and a tailgate party
  • Passion, Pasta and Pistols: A murder mystery party for 8
  • Color Your World: a painting package with Long Grove's watercolor artist, Sharon Larson
  • Beautiful Bell-- View from the Mississippi River: Pontoon ride with drinks and appetizers for 8 
  • Fore!: Local golf package for 4 at Springbrook Golf Club, Waspi Oaks, Valley Oaks and Glynns Creek, plus 2 golf lessons with Heather Kinney
  • Two Steves: 20 hours of interior room painting provided by Steve Fuglsang and Steve Maaske
  • Gulliver's Travels: Use of class C motorhome for 3 days. Unlimited mileage, but July & August will be blocked unless a motorhome becomes available. 
  • A Moveable Feast: Progressive dinner party for 12
  • Room to be Viewed: Room decor design by two downtown experts, Beth Hughes and Lisa Duffy
  • Come Fly with Me: Airplane ride to Madison, Wisconsin for 2 with dinner at home of DCHS 1971 graduates
  • A Murder on the Grill: cookout and murder mystery party for 8.  Hosted by Thomas and Rebecca Barnes, Tim and Kaitlyn Nawa, Elliot and Kristine Pennock​
  • On Steve's Golden Pond: Fishing derby for 3 families, children included, plus a cookout. Hosted by Steve and Becky Kenton.​
  • Landscape Beautification: $350 worth of lawn care from Pro Turf Services - Pat Happe and Brent Smith.  $200 voucher for a tree or shrubs from Andresen's Landscape - Bill Andreesen.  4 hours of landscaping services from Mike Selby.

Fees/Admission:
$50.00 per ticket, includes heavy hors d'oeuvres. Tickets can be purchased at the Frances Banta Waggoner Community Library, 21 Chop House, Urban Eats, First Central State Bank in DeWitt, and DeWitt Bank and Trust. Checks should be made out to the Frances Banta Waggoner Community Library.
