Make it Yours Upcycle Center Donation Drive
Make It Yours Upcycle Center in Welton invites everyone to "think" before they throw things away. You will be surprised by the items we accept as donations. Anyone can donate - households, businesses, schools, churches, clubs and industries. Click Here for an extensive list of acceptable items. Click Here to learn more about Creative Reuse.
We especially invite everyone who is participating in the DeWitt City-Wide garage sale on April 23, to donate their unwanted items at our donation drive. Make It Yours Upcycle Center will hold a donation drive on Saturday, April 23 in the parking lot at 1115 11th Street in DeWitt (Hansen Monuments Rock Shop Parking lot). We will be there between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. with a trailer. All items must be clean, odor and mold free and either in a box, tote or bag. No loose items accepted unless they are oversized like furniture, etc. We ask that you try to keep to items on our list, however what we can't use will be donated to the Referral Center. We are a non-profit and will issue receipts for tax deductions at time of donation. Please know your fair market value on your donations at drop-off time, we can not designate an amount for you.
This drive is for anyone who has things to donate on April 23. We also accept items on other days by appointment at the center at 411 Main St., Welton by calling (563) 659-1534 or (563) 340-3935. For questions email MakeItYoursUpcycle@gmail.com. Visit our website at www.makeityoursupcyclecenter.org and find us on social media like Facebook and Pinterest.
We are also seeking volunteers that day to help with the donation drive. This is a great opportunity for youth groups, clubs, etc to do some community service. Please contact us if you are interested in helping.
With your help we are "saving the landfills one junk drawer at a time!"
