Join author Michael Eckers as he discusses his new book "Five for Freedom" a story of a young war correspondent searching for his four high school basketball team mates. All are serving in different military branches during WWII, scattered around the world.
Michael Eckers has studied the history of America and our military for more than 40 years. He is retired from Federal service including four years in the US Navy during the Vietnam era. Michael resides mostly in southern Minnesota and is an active supporter of numerous historical and veterans groups in the Midwest and Florida. This is his fourth book.
